An evening wedding at The Roman Baths | Bath, Somerset | Amy & Chris
Amy & Chris had an elegant winter wedding at The Roman Baths in the city of Bath. There are not many weddings we can walk to, so this was a first!
I met with Amy and the girls at a beautiful apartment in The Circus, whilst Scott headed to Maple & Stone on Milsom Street on the High Street, where Chris and the boys were getting ready. I loved Amy's vintage look, complete with bespoke headpiece by Britten Weddings & gorgeous pastel pink flowers by Bramble & Wild.
Once ready, we headed to The Royal Crescent Hotel courtyard garden for Amy & Chris' first look; always an emotional moment to capture and I love it when our couples are able to do this before their ceremony. We then had a wander through some of the pretty backstreets of Bath, down to the Circus and then back up to The Royal Crescent, where Amy & Chris had drinks and canapes with their friends. As the evening drew in guests made their way to The Roman Baths, where Amy & Chris' evening ceremony would be taking place.
The torches were lit and everyone was seated awaiting Amy and her Father's arrival. The ceremony was magical as was the view across the Roman Baths. Following the ceremony, drinks were served around the Baths before guests made their way to The Pump Room, which was beautifully decorated, with Amy's creative vision and Matthew Oliver's special touch. Amy is Canadian and many of her friends and family had come over to celebrate Chris & Amy's day, so it was a special celebration. The Disco went on late into the night and we left everyone strutting their stuff on the dance floor.
