Larmer Tree Gardens Wedding | Kate & Jonathan |
We first met Kate & Jonathan for their pre wedding shoot at The King John Inn in Tollard Royal to find out more about their plans and we took a wander around the beautiful countryside that surrounds the Larmer Tree Gardens. They had chosen the venue after visiting the Larmer Tree Festival, which is held there every year and which we went to for the first time just yesterday! I can recommend it.
On the morning of Kate & Jonathan's wedding, Scott and I arrived at The Beckford Arms, a boutique hotel in the Wiltshire countryside. Here preparations were underway and Kate and her Bridesmaids were busy getting their hair and make-up done by the talented girls at Bridal Treats.
I caught a glimpse of sequins through Kate's dress cover and knew that it had to be a Jenny Packham number. I was right and it was beautiful! A 1920's style embellished dress over a silver slip. Kate also had a pair of gorgeous 1920's styled shoes and a sparkly Jenny Packham hair comb to compliment her finger wave hairdo.
We arrived at the Larmer Tree Gardens where as always we were greeted by the resident peacocks first as they keep watch on guests arriving (they are very nosey!) we then met Jonathan looking dapper in his grey suit, whist greeting guests. Guests were making their way through the gardens to the Pavilion, where the ceremony was taking place.
Following the ceremony the couple took a spin in their wedding car whist everyone made their way onto the lawn for drinks & canapés and of course to play garden games! Kate & Jonathan pulled up outside the Singing Theatre before we took a stroll with them around the gardens, where they kept breaking into dance as their favourite songs played.
Following their wedding breakfast their friends made their way onto the stage outside to perform their set, which included 90's classic love ballads & as the rain came out their very own rendition of Umbrella by Rhianna. The boys improvisational skills had everyone laughing and had Kate & Jonathan in hysterics! Despite the rain more guests gathered under umbrellas for the evening entertainment, which turned into a mini festival of their own! We hope you enjoy the photos!
