Vintage Fifties Wedding | Larmer Tree Gardens, Wiltshire | Sarah & Adrian Part 2
Here is Part II of Sarah & Adrian's 1950's style wedding at The Larmer Tree Gardens, following on from Part I.
The Larmer Tree Gardens in Wiltshire was the perfect setting for Sarah & Adrian's wedding, with guests playing games in the gardens & relaxing on deck chairs with the sounds of the swing jazz band, playing from from the Singing Theatre. Everybody had a lot of fun before the wedding breakfast in the Pavilion, where a choice of delicious pies were served, with mash and seasonable vegetables.
One of the Ushers was given a vintage car horn to help round people up & to catch peoples attention before making announcements, which was very effective!
Sarah had put a lot of hard work into the table decorations, making table runners, collecting ceramic jugs for the cut flowers and using blackboards for the table names, the ceiling of the pavilion was decorated with beautiful paper pom poms. Guests could help themselves to Brown's Sweet Shop and all the cake from The Bake Off throughout the evening. Sarah & Adrian also bought out Wonka Bars with their tea & coffee and one lucky guest won some wine with her golden ticket.
The evening kicked off with music from the Wedding Smashers, which kept guests on the dance floor all night long. They were the best wedding DJs we have experienced and played a great collection of music. I have not seen a dance floor so packed before! We also set up our Photo Booth in the evening, which was great entertainment for all the guests!
